     Universal joint shafts from Voith transmit torque from a driving machine to a driven machine and can accommodate a high degree of misalignment. Reliability and efficiency are our top priorities.

S Series

De­signed for small- to medium-sized drives
   The S Series is the basic version of Voith universal joint shafts and has been de­signed for small- to medium-sized drives. The connection flanges are friction flanges.
   In building the S universal joint shafts, we use high-strength tempered and case-hardened steels that assure the ability to withstand static and dynamic loads. The universal joint shafts have high torque capacity combined with optimal bending and torsion rigidity.

R Series

Designed for medium-sized torques, and especially for high-speed drives

      R Series universal joint shafts are the best solution for medium-sized torques, especially for high-speed drives. These universal joint shafts are of modular design and can be integrated into your drives with a great deal of flexibility. The flange con­nec­tions are available in friction and positive locking designs.
      The universal joint shafts of this series have been optimized using FEM. High-strength tempered and case-hardened steels and center sections with a large diameter serve to reduce the weight. At the same time, the bending and torsion rigidity is increased. As a result, the universal joint shaft is highly efficient in operation and less sensitive to vibration stress.

CH Series

Designed for high and maximum torques

     The CH Series is the standard for high and maximum torques. CH universal joint shafts are individually designed, that is, they are built to customer specifications to precisely meet the requirements of the drive. Flanges and flange yokes are available in a very wide range of designs and materials. Our customers get a product with the best possible balance of performance, reliability and cost.
     Ensuring low life cycle costs and high operational reliability were the main objectives in developing this series. We were able to achieve this goal using a special bearing concept based on our experience in designing high-performance universal joint shafts over several decades.

E Series

Designed for high-performance drives with max­imum torques

     E Series universal joint shafts are intended for high-performance drives with max­imum torques. The principal features of this series are very high torque capacity and increased bearing life.
     In comparison with the other series, E Series joints have the greatest torque cap­acity. A high-performance universal joint shaft can be equipped with an E joint at both ends or one E joint can be combined with a CH joint. An E universal joint shaft transmits a torque up to 20% greater than a CH universal joint shaft with the same joint diameter. The E Series is ideal if installation space is limited.
